Fantastic stock pot

I just received my new 8-quart stock pot and it's incredible! The quality is obvious from the moment you unbox it. I made a huge batch of soup, and it cooked beautifully on my induction stovetop. The weight is perfect, and I just love that I can pop the handles off for easy storage. This is exactly what I needed for my kitchen. I'm already planning my next purchase, maybe a sauté pan. Seriously impressed with this cookware!

Great value on a starter set

I was looking to upgrade my old cookware and found Cristel. I picked up one of their starter sets during a holiday sale. The discount was pretty good, saved about 20% on the bundle which included a couple of pans and a removable handle. For the quality you get, it felt like a smart investment. The pots feel durable and knowing they're made in France is a plus. It was definitely worth the money I spent.

Good quality, delivery could improve

I bought the 9.5-inch stainless steel frying pan, and it's definitely a high-quality product. The pan heats evenly and cleanup is pretty straightforward, just like they said. It felt solid, a real step up from my old pans. The detachable handle system is also super convenient for storage. However, delivery took about 8 days to reach me in California, which felt a bit long given the price point. Overall, I'm happy with the pan, but faster shipping would make the experience perfect.

Love my new saucepan

Got an induction saucepan from here last week. It's really nice! Cooks great and the detachable handle is so handy for putting it in the dishwasher. Didn't have any issues with ordering or anything. Came pretty quick too.

Anyone know if you can snag free shipping on these? The prices are already pretty high so every little bit helps.

O Olivia Allen 4 weeks ago
Yup, free shipping kicks in if your order is over $150. That covers most sets or a few individual pieces, I think.

Yeah, just hit the $150 mark. I usually add a small utensil or something if I'm just under to get the free delivery. Worth it.

Does anyone know if Cristel cookware is really made in France? I saw a few different brands claiming 'made in' but it's often just assembled there.

R Robert 1 week ago
Yep, it's genuinely made in France. That's a big part of their whole thing, the 'Made in France' quality.

Totally legit. I looked into this when I got mine because I'm picky about origin. All their stainless stuff is manufactured over there, not just assembled.

I'm looking at the Cristel pans but also heard good things about All-Clad. For someone who cooks a lot, which one is generally considered better quality or a better investment?

H Hannah P. 2 weeks ago
Both are great, honestly. Cristel's detachable handles are a game changer for storage and oven use. All-Clad is super solid too but the handles can be a bit uncomfortable for some people. Depends on what features you prioritize.

I went with Cristel over All-Clad specifically for the handles. The quality of the steel is comparable, really top-notch in both. But the convenience of stacking Cristel pans without handles won me over. And I find the Cristel design a bit sleeker, personally.

Just wondering about the return policy for Cristel USA. What if I get a set and it's not quite what I expected? How long do I have?

R Rachel Mitchell 3 weeks ago
I think it's 30 days for returns if you're not happy. Just make sure it's unused and in its original packaging.

Yeah, pretty standard 30-day return window. I returned a lid once 'cause I ordered the wrong size, and it was pretty painless. They'll give you details on their site about how to start the process.

Thinking of finally getting some nice cookware, Cristel is on my radar. But like, what's the deal with their detachable handles? Are they actually safe or do they feel flimsy when you're cooking?

A Ashley Lee 5 days ago
They're super safe! Once you click 'em on, they're really solid. No wobbling or anything. Takes a second to get used to but then it's second nature.

Seriously, the handles are one of the best parts. They lock on really securely, I've never had one slip. Plus, it makes storing them so much easier, huge space saver.
